Celebrating Women’s Equality Day

Once a year, we observe Women’s Equality Day to commemorate the adoption of the Nineteenth Amendment, which prohibits the denial of the right to vote in America on the basis of sex. We are thrilled to represent these incredible women who transcend boundaries, challenge the status quo, and move us toward a more equal and equitable world.

Amy McGrath is a retired U.S. Marine Corps Lieutenant Colonel who was the first woman in the Marine Corps to fly a combat mission in an F/A-18. McGrath inspires audiences with her courageous story of becoming a fighter pilot and running for Kentucky’s Sixth Congressional District in 2018, and U.S. Senate in 2020. Her stirring lectures shed light on the realities of serving in the military as a woman and the hard lessons in leadership, sacrifice, and patriotism she has learned over the course of her political and military career. Most recently, McGrath founded Honor Bound, Inc., a nonprofit organization committed to encouraging women to run for office and facilitating leadership development for women with a service background.
